No picture was made at the California border sign due to it's location on the interstate. There was a good chance we could have have died there had we stopped. Not to be outdone by Oklahoma, California's welcome center is 45 miles away from the border. Hopefully there will be some type of sign when we get there.
If anyone behind us on I40 hasn't gone through the border checkpoint yet, throw out your fruit and nuts. Drugs and artillery appear to be okay since they didn't ask about that, but no illegal pomegrantes.
